Ashtanga Vinyasa Hybrid (studio)

This 75 minute class is inspired by Ashtanga yoga. We begin with a warm-up to open and release the body. From there we move through Sun Salutations and the traditional Ashtanga standing sequence. Following this, we practice a selection of seated and reclining postures and preparatory poses. The class finishes with the traditional Ashtanga closing sequence. This class is largely based on primary series, thus is grounding and cleansing for the body and mind. However, we also practice poses meant to open and expand.
